How you will make an impact?  

METRO digital is looking for a Test Automation Engineer for M. Store Goods Inbound product team.

Mission of M.Store Goods Inbound is To cover all Goods Receiving functionalities by digitalization of processes in order to improve stock accuracy while minimizing truck-to-shelf time. Solution vision is to achieve 100% stock accuracy while minimizing truck to shelf time, by empowering business with seamless one click accurate goods receiving.

Your Responsibilities: 

• This role is a combined testing role, that includes manual and automation testing;
• Design, build, test and deploy effective test automation solutions and forge a solid automation strategy going forward;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of established test automation processes and continuous delivery process;
• Work closely with developers as they write and develop code to ensure requirements are being met and overall quality is achieved;
• Coordinate and implement test automation solutions and activities inside the project and record the test results;
• Apply appropriate automation technologies to meet the short and long-term goals of the testing solution based on the product tech stack.

Required key competencies and qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in software testing using Java and Selenium for automation testing;
• Proven experience of Agile testing pyramid and where each testing layer fits in software development; 
• Solid understanding of OOP Concepts; 
• Experience using practices and tools for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery;
• Knowledge of Docker containerization is a plus; 
• Experience working with databases and Message Queues; 
• Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
