  Your Responsibilities: 

• Being involved in all phases of software engineering, from inception to coding, testing, delivery and operation;
• Developing high quality code that follows best practices and clean code principles;

• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security and performance;
• Collaborating with other engineers or team members on various layers of the infrastructure, in order to design and launch new features;
• Interacting with the client in order to understand and characterize their needs and advise them if necessary.

Required key competencies and qualifications: 

• Solid understanding of JavaScript (including ES6+, TypeScript would be a plus)
• Experience building frontend applications using React, Redux (or similar), HTML, CSS - acquired in 5+ years of development experience
• Experience with some of the tools: Webpack, Babel, Gulp, Grunt, Browserify
• Experience with version control systems such as GIT and version control repositories such as Gitlab, Github
• Familiar with NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra)
• Familiar with the standard software design patterns, web application and web services architectures, RESTful APIs
• Familiar with JMS technologies (Kafka, PubSub or similar)
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes

Highly appreciated:

• Backend development experience using Java or NodeJS
• Unit testing experience (automated would be a plus)
• Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment experience
• Knowledge of BigQuery
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as DataDog
• Familiar with Linux or MacOS
