Your new challenge

Seeking for an experienced Manager to lead the BI product portfolio and actively contribute to our digitalization journey.

We are using the latest Cloud Native technologies to build a state-of-the-art IT environment able to leverage the future of the digital experience.

Our main driver is customer value, so we use tech for enabling customers to create sustainable growth based on data insights.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Drive the domain mission, vision and performance drivers
  • Active contributor to setting and execution of BI strategy
  • Team Management: performance, coaching, development, recruitment, etc.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to design, development, and implementation of data requirements in the domain
  • Coach the team members to leverage actionable business insights to answer business questions, drive business decisions, and develop recommendations to improve customer value
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Responsible of domain’s budget & cost management for the products and solutions within his/her domain
  • Acting as a Data Ambassador, actively conducting & supporting the Organization towards a data-driven mindset and education
  • Increasing adoption and usage for the products and solutions within his/her domain
  • Effective data management (in terms of quality gates, redundancy, accuracy & reliability, and value added)
  • Keep up the pace with new technologies and trends in BI


Required key competencies and qualifications

 

  • Strong background in BI in a complex environment, pragmatically leading product or technical teams to results, with a visionary mindset and a strong business acumen and orientation. You have a passion for data.
  • 5+ years of technology leadership, managing and building BI teams in a complex data environment
  • Good understanding of the fundamentals in building and operating a BI ecosystem
  • Good understanding of data-centric SDLC models and ability to enforce, control, measure and improve such processes
  • Understanding of data engineering design patterns (i.e. raw loads, ETL, ELT, data virtualization, etc.)
  • MPP/Cloud Warehousing/Big Data principles
  • Experience building products with Cloud services or Big Data technologies
  • Excellent comprehension of data and capability to reveal the story behind it
  • Relevant experience in delivering technology products and services
  • Strong judgement and business acumen in determining strategic vision
  • Agile player, highly adaptable to fast shifting priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, from team members to C-suite executives and partners
  • Experience in managing growth and change
  • Native negotiator with a problem-solving attitude
  • Retail background
  • Previous experience in delivering organizational transformation
  • Proficient English level
