Purpose of your new department — People Experience

As People Experience, we bring METRO.digital's value propositions together by fostering connection and engagement while driving communication and culture.

We will only achieve our ambitious goals through a culture of togetherness, with robust values, clear communication and growth opportunities for current and future colleagues.

We have created a solid foundation for this in recent years and became a crucial interface between our people, people management, talent acquisition and senior leadership. We actively shape the candidate and employee experience, using the latest technologies and communication concepts.


Would you like to help us further develop and optimize our people-centric approach with an international and very passionate team?

Your 6-12 month milestones:

  • Service oriented (Service Design)
    • Get familiar with METRO, METRO.digital and our long-term goals
    • Onboard your colleagues methodically and evangelize Service- and UX Design methodology (the right mindset is already there)
    • Create Personas and Impact Maps based on in-depth interviews with colleagues, management and senior leadership
    • Development of status-quo Talent, Candidate and Employee journey maps, highlighting improvement opportunities and challenges
    • Finally derive a “living” Service Blueprint of all People Experience activities as basis for further activities
  • Touchpoint oriented (UX)
    • Translate findings in tangible interfaces and communication/visual design assets necessary for planned measures and communication
    • Support the coordination of the various touchpoints

Your new challenges:

  • Establish a efficient communication with functional domains,
    other teams and roles.
  • Continually discover new opportunities for the candidate and employee journey.
  • Cover the entire process from concept development to delivery, ensuring excellence at all service and touchpoint levels. From blueprinting to concept to visual design.
  • Apply metrics frameworks such as HEART, UEQ or CSAT specifically and use them as quality indicators for your work.

You are a great fit:

  • You have a strong UX/Service Design background that you have professionalized over at least 3 years in medium and large organizations
  • You are solution-oriented and strongly believe in improvement through continuous iteration.
  • You are an open-minded team player and highly flexible when it comes to team collaboration and adapt your ways of working if necessary, in order to reach a valuable outcome in time.
  • Communicating in English language verbally and in written form is no issue for you.
